How to Use

• For best results, mow and scarify before application.
• Measure the required amount of granules – use 25-35g per square metre.

Tips for Application

Apply in Spring

Spring is the best time to apply Grass Green. The high nitrogen content helps it grow strong and healthy, while the slow-release formula prevents excessive growth so you don’t need to mow more than usual.

Don’t Apply in Winter

Grass is naturally dormant in winter, so it doesn’t need to grow. Applying excessive nitrogen to the soil in winter can overload grass, forcing what’s known as “soft growth” which puts it at risk of disease. This can result in sickly yellow or brown patches.

Apply Every 3 Months from Spring Through Autumn

The slow-release formula lasts for three times longer than other brands, so you’ll only need to apply once every three months to keep your lawn looking lush and green.

Scarify First

Scarify before applying to get the best results from application. This reduces the build-up of thatch on your lawn, which allows more granules to be watered down deep into the soil.
