Easy to Use

Just mix with water and apply via a sprayer or watering can. Adjust strength accordingly for greening or turf hardening.

Grass-Greening: Mix 1-2g of Iron Sulphate per 1L of water.

Turf-Harding: Mix 2-3g of Iron Sulphate per 1L of water.

Avoid use on hard surfaces to prevent staining.

Please note: Iron Sulphate naturally compacts so this product may require shaking well to loosen clumps. Other brands use clogging agents which can clog sprayers, our formula uses minimal anti-caking agents for a higher concentration of Iron Sulphate. Some compaction is normal but breaks apart easily and fully dissolves without residue and is different from iron that has hardened due to absorbed moisture.

ive never used before ,so i was hesitant as to just how effective it would be .Got to say its killed the moss totally and quickly too, so on the evidence so far its definitely got my endorsement.Grass is also showing signs of improvement.

The least expensive type of moss killer per square metre, a fraction of the price of other methods, best used on large lawns with a knapsack sprayer, dissolve chemical in water and apply when it looks like rain later. Works fast.

Is it harmful to pets

After application to your grass do not allow your pets onto the treated area for 12-24 hours.

Dose the measuring cup hold 2g of this product. I can see 2 measuring lines and assumed each line was 1g measure

This comes in a tub and we do not provide a measuring cup.

Can I use this product in February as I already have so much moss?

The recommended time is for application is between September & April but not in freezing temperatures.

Yes, as long as the new lawn is well established you can use it on a lawn 2 months old.

You say 1-2g or 2-3grams to litre of water per m2 I have 528 m2 to spray does this mean I need 528 litres of water.

Yes, that is correct you will need 528L water for an area 528m2.

How often should i treat my grass from September to April?

Best to be applied in damp conditions. When treating for turf hardening or grass greening this can be applied every 6 weeks all year but not when frosty or in hot dry conditions.

Is this suitable for sandy/gravel paths or will it stain and look awful?

No, it will stain it is not suitable for paths only your lawn.

No, this product will only kill moss on your lawn.

The dilution rate for killing moss we would advise 5g per litre of water to cover a square metre.

Can i use this to acidify the soil for Camellias?Rhodedendrons/Acers etc?

Yes, the recommended rate to help plant and acidify soil is 5g mixed thoroughly in 500ml water per square meter. Ensure that you do not spray on foliage only the ground. Apply monthly. Please ensure that correct safety and protective measures are taken.

How long after application should I rake the lawn?

Once the moss turns black remove from your lawn.

What is best time of year to start using And do I need to reseed If so what is best seed

The recommended time is for application is September & April. Please leave around one to two weeks before reseeding. We also have the Pro-Kleen Lawn Feed Fertiliser that can be used on your newly seeded lawn.

Can it be applied dry using a spreader rather than dissolving in water

We would always recommend to dissolve in warm water for even distribution on your grassed area. If applied dry and not watered enough your grass may burn in some areas.

Can this product be used on artificial grass to kill the weeds at the edges?

This product will not kill weeds, and we would not advise you to use on artificial grass.

We would advise you to keep off the lawn for 12-24 hours before cutting.

This will damage the foliage and discolour the flowers if sprayed accidentally. Please be extra careful near borders and flowers and your plants.

Can I apply this product using a Miracle Gro spray feeder? For moss control how many grams of product should I put in the feeder tank and how much water? I saw this question answered here a couple of weeks ago but cannot find it now. Thanks

For Moss control 5g Iron Sulphate with 1l of water to cover 1m2. Follow your instruction manual for your Miracle Gro spray feeder

Will it stain fencing if accidentally spilled on when applied?

Yes, this will stain your fencing.

Will it eradicate red thread?

No, it will not kill red thread which is a fungus.

Please confirm total weight supplied advert suggests 10kg but page says 2.5kg but 4 items which would make 10 once I know will order.

No, for Moss application 300g solution is required in your 60l sprayer with tepid water and must be fully dissolved before application.

To make grass greener use 1g per litre of water as a test and if not effective then increase to 2g per litre of water.

Leave to dry on grass and water 2/3days later.

Yes, as long as the new lawn is well established you can use on lawn 2 months old.

We would advise to treat in Autumn, Winter and Spring with two applications, one to two weeks apart.
