This Ultima-Plus Patio Cleaner deeply cleans pathways, patios, driveways and other outdoor hard surfaces. It removes green mould and algae to leave the area looking clean and fresh. Helps to Prevent Regrowth
To keep your outdoor hard surfaces cleaner for longer, our unique formula leaves a protective invisible layer for up to 6 months. This means that it’s much harder for green growths to cling to the surface after the treatment – helping to keep it much cleaner for longer!
Causes No Discolouration
The formula contains no bleach or acid, so there’s no need to worry about anything becoming discoloured or damaged.
Safe Formula
This patio cleaner is safe for outdoor areas where pets and children go – just make sure that the area is completely dry before reintroducing them into the area.
How to Use:
1. Apply in dry conditions and avoid applying when rain is forecast within 8 hours. In summer apply late afternoon / early evening (when sunlight is less intense). The less dilution, the more concentrated the solution, the quicker the results.
2. Mix the Ultima-Plus XP with water. Our recommended ratio is 4 parts water for every 1-part Ultima-Plus XP.
3. Apply your mixture to the desired area with a watering can or a pump sprayer.
4. You’ll start to see results within 2-3 days!

Finally a product that works and actually does what it states. I needed to paint a customers fence that was full of green growth, pump sprayed this on 1 week before scheduled to paint, went back 1 week later and was amazed, much better than I had hoped for. Even the neighbours were asking what I had used, so passed on my new findings.

Used this product before and it is brilliant, sprayed on patio and by the next day most of the algee had lifted, no washing down needed, if there is a stubborn patch just reapply and lightly brush if needed.

It is not neccessary to scrape established moss growth prior to spraying. We would advise you to spray liberally on larger clumps to allow it to soak through the patches properly.

This product does not kill weeds therefore we would advise you to treat the weeds with a suitable weed killer. We would advise you to treat the weeds after using this product. Again, this product will only get rid of moss, mould and algae, and will not clean areas of dirt and grime.

Does it remove lichens and blackspots from block paving
Lichens have a different property to moss, mould and algae but if applied neat, should remove. Since we do not know what the blackspots are, we cannot advise further. However, Ultima Plus XP will not remove stains such as dirt, grime or grease spots.

You can power wash as soon as the mould and algae has turned brown (usually 2 - 3 days).

If the white/grey spots are lichen, then this product will work. We would advise you to apply is a stronger dilution rate, and if the white/grey spots are thick or widespread, apply neat. Avoid run-off onto lawns or borders, as this product will kill them too.
