Easy to use and are effective

I am reviewing the fly lamp that these boards fit into - very nice looking, but I don't think the UV is strong enough to attract the flies. I had a cheaper old fashioned zapper type which this fancy one replaced and it was quite honestly much better than this one.
I have a few ideas to improve the attractiveness to flies, which I shall try.
