Air coolers are a great investment for those areas where a fan just doesn’t quite do the job but an air con unit can incur expensive installation and running fees. They use a method known as evaporative cooling which takes place when the tank that has been filled with cold water, is gradually soaked up by the absorbent cooling pad. The water in the pad will evaporate, sucking some of the heat energy out of the air as it does so. This cool air is then blown out into the room by the fan powerful fan. This can be cooled even further by adding ice to the water tank which is why this unit comes with 2 free ice packs included.
