Heat and supply hot water very well easy to fit the outer metal casings are a bit thin and flimsy though a little better build quality for the money is needed

No, this is not possible the unit comes with a manual tap.
Distance from bottom of tap to base, with & without drip tray in place?
The distance from the drip tray to the tap is 220mm. The height of the drip tray is 92mm, therefore if this is removed the total distance to the tap will increase to 312mm.

We would recommend the product with in built filtration attached below. It is the same model with added filtration. This prevents the issues associated with hard water.
