Available in three sizes

This ceiling fan is available in three different diameters; 36”, 48” and 56” which means you should be able to find the correct size most suitable for your needs.

The larger the room the larger the fan you will require so it is important to work out what size or quantity is needed before purchasing. The best place to start is by working out how high your ceiling is, once you have this you can choose the fan size, for example, if your room is 2.7m you need a 36” fan. You then need to know what area your room is, you then divide this by the area covered by the fan you have selected which in this case is 33m². Round this number up to the nearest whole number and this tells you how many fans you need:

90m² (The area of your room) / 33m² (The area a 36” fan covers) = 2.7

Using this equation, you now know you need 3 fans to adequately cover your room size. You can use the information below to work out what you would need to fit your requirements:
 

1. Ceiling Height

Select HCF900 (36”) for a maximum of 3m / 10ft mounting height

Select HCF1200 (48”) for a maximum of 6m / 20ft mounting height

Select HCF1400 (56”) for a maximum of 9m / 30ft mounting height
 

2. Area Covered

Select one HCF900 (36”) per 33m2 / 355ft2

Select one HCF1200 (48”) per 90m2 / 968ft2

Select one HCF1400 (56”) per 145m2 / 1560ft2

Two drop down lengths

These models also come with two different dropdown rods; 150mm and 400mm. The shorter rod is ideal for when fans are mounted to lower ceilings or below ceiling height for example beams

Please be advised however when choosing a dropdown rod there must be a minimum distance of 2.3m between the fan blades and the floor.

Fully Reversible

The HCF fans are fully reversible with the flick of a switch. Meaning that not only can these fans be used to keep areas cool and improve airflow in hot summer temperatures but they can also be used in the winter to keep the room warm.

Fans work in cooling mode by using the speed of the blade to push cool air down into the room helping to dispel warm air and create a cooling effect, however, when the blades are reversed they instead cause an updraft pulling cold air up instead of pushing it down. This means that the warm air sits lower down in the room so you can feel the full benefits. Making these units an ideal year-round investment.
