Hi is this a urn which operates with gas?
This is an electrical urn. The code for the gas urn is our quick code 116639.
Does this need to be plumbed in or wired in for electrics?
Does it keep the water hot between after being 'boiled'?
Thanks
This unit come with a 3 pin plug and does not have to be spurred in. The unit does have a keep warm facility. As soon as the water temperature drops it will automatically heat the water.
Time taken to heat 10 ltitres
The heat up time for 10 litres is about 20 mins but it does depend on how cold the water is that is placed inside.
What are the dimentions and also how many cups is 10 ltrs
Thanks
The dimensions of this item are 285mm x 285mm x 480mm. 10 litres will provide approximately 40 cups based on an average of 250ml a cup.
Are the lower temp setting suitable for hand washing. I need a self contained unit for use in a garage with out a water supply
Unfortunately these items are not suitable for this use.
Will the 10 litre 1.6 kw 116633 boiler atã72.50 hold water at 30 degrees temp
The temperature of the water will be held just below boiling point at around 97 degrees Celsius.
Is this item a manual fill?
This catering urn needs to be filled manually. The lid comes off the top of the unit allowing you to fill the urn with water.
What is the distance from the bottom of the urn to the bottom of the tap outlet - would a large teapot be able to fit under the tap?
The height of the tap is approximately 115mm, which is designed to fit a standard cup underneath. You would struggle to fit a large teapot under.
Does the tap on this urn have a 'lock' position?
The tap can be locked for continual flow by turning the tap lever, to line up the open padlock symbol with the white dot at the front of the tap body. However, the water flow will stop after a certain amount and will not flow until the urn is drained.
Has this urn got a water level indicator
No, this water urn does not have a water level indicator.
Would a small 2 cup teapot fit under the tap
The distance of the gap up to the tap is 115mm, so the height of the teapot needs to be slightly smaller to fit under safely.
