PTC Heating Element

The air curtain is powered by a premium PTC heating element that heats up quickly when powered on and cools down slowly when powered off. This helps ensure you get the best possible performance for every watt of energy used.

Accurate Thermostat

The heating element works hand-in-hand with the ultra-accurate thermostat to ensure you don’t ever use more energy than you need to. It controls the heating output to ensure it perfectly matches your heat settings. Once the thermostat detects this temperature is reached, it switches the unit off until the temperature starts to drop. It continues to switch the heating element on and off as required to maintain your chosen temperature, so you’ll never have to worry about wasting energy. The unit also has an open window mode that you can toggle on and off. When active, it detects when a window has been left open and switches the heater off to prevent waste energy.

3 Power Settings

Keep an even tighter control over your energy use by selecting one of two heat settings – a 1kW and a full-power 2kW mode. You can also switch the heating element off entirely, meaning this air curtain doubles up as a cooling fan in the summer.

You can program your air curtain to work around your schedule thanks to its fully-programmable 24/7 timer. This is ideal for offices or businesses that have the same opening times every week as you can simply program the timer and forget about it.
