Black Spot Destroyer is suitable for use on almost all treated and untreated stone surfaces. It’s safe for use on block paving, bricks, Indian sandstone, York stone, garden paths, and more.
How to Use
- Apply the solution directly onto the area using a pump sprayer or a watering can. Use it neat, without dilution.
- Leave the area for 2-4 hours. Keep pets and children away during this time. The solution will start to fizz as it works – this is normal and nothing to worry about.
- In areas with stubborn or large quantities of blackspot, it is recommended to agitate the area with a brush
- Rinse the area thoroughly and leave it to dry.
- Once dried, allowing children and pets back onto the area is safe.

Do not use this product in warm weather/high temperatures.

This could soften and damage the tarmac. So please rinse away from the tarmac or block the area before treatment. Be really careful.

The product doesn't have an expiry date, however, sodium hypochlorite which is the main ingredient in the product does degrade over time and the activity level becomes less so performance can be affected, this can be reduced by storing the product somewhere cool and dark and not in direct sunlight. By doing this the product will still degrade but the speed at which it does becomes significantly less. It should last a few years if stored correctly.
I am worried about my dogs paws - are you sure it will not effect them once it has been rinsed and dried?
Please follow the label instructions and once the treated area is fully dry after rinsing well then the dogs can return to the area.

It is safe for pets after treatment is completed and the area is fully rinsed. Once the area is dry then pets can return back to the treated area.

It may be easier to apply earlier and then rinse the treated area before night. The dry-treated area should then be safe for cats. Please leave at least 4 hours before rinsing well.

Once the treated area is rinsed down well, fully dry, and the treated area is brushed down to remove any dirt etc. Please test a small inconspicuous area before full application. The patio seal must be applied on a dry day. Do not apply in high temperatures so that it will not dry too quickly. The product is not suitable for use on lime-based cement/resin seals.
