Hi it does quite well give's a nice cool breeze and will lower the temperature slightly when the humidity is below 60% so if you’re looking for a comfortable sit in front of the tv I can’t fault it not to pricey and cheap to run I’m glad I bought one

No, vent is required but for best results, place your air cooler near an open door or window. This will help it work with the natural airflow of the room and will cool you down more efficiently.

How many hours will the Mylek 8litre cooler last on a full water tank?

Approximately, around 6 hours dependant on the current temperature and if the ice packs are frozen.

My main room is 19ft long 10 ft across, is this model ok for these dimensions ?

This air cooler would be suitable for a 6m x 6m room.

How to clear lime scale built up in the water tank ? Wherelse will lime scale also accumulate ?

The water tank needs to be emptied on a regular basis to stop the build-up of limescale. Clean with a neutral detergent and clear clean water and leave to air dry.

Not sure where to put the ice packs? Do I put the 2 ice packs under the lid or do I put them in the 8L of water?

The ice packs can be placed in the water tank at the bottom or two can be placed in the top water tank under the lid. Fill the water to the level but remember to replace the rubber bung.

Do any of these models have an ioniser as well?

Would this be suitable for my dog grooming business, size 3m x 3m

The 4l size should cover a room of approximately 3m x 3m. The 8l covers a room size of roughly 6m x6m.

If the water in the tank runs out will this still work as a fan ? Relative with dementia will not be able to check water levels but can be filled done by carer once daily

The Fan will work but not the cool function unless the water is in the tank.

Just add the water and then put into your freezer to freeze the ice packs before adding to the Mylek Air Cooler.
