Horse Tail Weed Killer
Horse Tail or Mares Tail Weed Killer is a common nuisance in a wide range of locations and especially effects beds and borders of gardens. It uses an underground stem (which adds to the difficulty in treating Horse Tail) and shoots a wide base of foliage to the surface. The shoots stand upright and can grow up to 2 feet tall. As well as growing rapidly, they can spread underground quickly to as deep as 7 feet underground and they can then spread from garden to garden. It can take years to completely eliminate the problem, and treatment via a weed killer is recommended as soon as Horse Tail is identified to try and limit the spread of the weed.
