It required disassembly of the end attachment bosses to get their mounting holes alignment with the handle, truly symmetrical. So whilst it was in bits I deburred some of the sharp edges around the mounting hole, but then I'm a mechanical engineer & fussy like that. There are no instructions, but I used an 8mm glass drill bit to cleanly drill through the tiles on our bathroom wall. The screw fixings supplied are also stainless steel, so all parts are truly corrosion proof, not just the visible parts. The supplied screws & plastic screw retainer plugs are all large & robust, requiring eight holes at least 2" (50mm) plus deep. This thing is not coming off the wall to soon, that's for sure. However, holding it on the slippery tiles wall while marking the fixing hole positions (with an indelible pen) was not easy & a self-adhesive marking template would have been nice. Tip - in retrospect, some masking tape placed on the wall would have greatly helped give a slip proof surface.
