This heater is 2.8kw and the plug is 13 amps.
Is there a safety cut-off of heating element, in the event that the water supply is interrupted?
This water heater does have a boil dry thermal cut out.
Is there an integrated lime scale filter or do you have to fit this in addition?
This water heater has a built in filtration system.
Can we control this with a time switch. i.e. will it start to warm up as soon as the supply is turned on or do you have to press the start button?

This model (PLSAFCT5L) has a build in timer, which will allow you to programme the water heater to come on at your required times.
There are a maximum of 10 people in our office having coffee and tea about 3 times a day - would this model be suitable for us?
On average, 1L of water will produce enough water for 4 hot drinks, so a 5L urn would produce around 20 cups before refilling. However, the Autofil Countertop Water Boiler, will continue to fill up through the course of the day as water levels fall, so this size water heater would be suitable. If you decided to go for the next size up (10L) this would cater for an unexpected higher demand of cups needed.
