Frequently asked questions
What power supply is needed for this unit.
A 230V mains supply is needed but the water boiler must be spurred into the mains on its own socket. We recommend you contact a qualified electrician to confirm if your electric circuit can take the load for the added 6Kw.
What is the typical energy consumption to heat up and use for say 20L over 2hr period. Thank you
The water heater is a 6Kw heater, and to heat up to 98°C would require full energy consumption of the 6Kw, which takes approximately 34 minutes. However, once the water is heated it won't reheat until the temperature drops to 80°C. The time to take to reach from 80° back up to 98° is approximately 7 minutes.
