Neutralises Acidic Soils

The optimum pH level for your soil is between 6-7 this will create the best environment for most plants to thrive, grow strong and successfully absorb all the important nutrients they need from your soil. However, if your soil has a pH level below 6 this means it is too acidic and will make it much more difficult for your garden to grow, however, this can be easily fixed with the help of Pro-Kleen’s Lime Granules that quickly raise your pH levels so you can achieve the perfect balance.

Promotes Healthy Plant Growth

Not only will these granules effectively balance your soil pH levels but they also improve the overall structure of your soil allowing it to more effectively retain water while also enabling helpful microbes and bacteria in the soil to flourish releasing more nutrients and therefore encouraging stronger and healthier growth for your plants improving their overall appearance and hardiness.

Reduces Risk of Clubroot

Using Pro-Kleen’s soil conditioner will also help to reduce the risk of clubroot developing – clubroot is a fungal infection that can cause plants to wilt or stunt their growth as a result of distorted and swollen roots. By adding Pro-Kleen’s Lime Soil Conditioner you can help to protect against this fungal infection to keep your gardens and plants strong.

Ideal for use on a wide range of Plants

This formula creates the perfect growing environment for plants, flowers, fruits and vegetables that thrive in pH-neutral soil such as Delphiniums, Buddleia, Gypsophila, Iris, Bluebell, Maple, Douglas Fir, Citrus Fruit Trees and Brassicas such as Cabbage, Cauliflower, Brussel Sprouts, Swede.    

Application

Before applying we recommend testing your soil pH levels – if your soil pH has levels below 6 use the following application rates:

Apply 50m2 at 8–12-week intervals until the desired pH level has been reached (Check pH before each treatment)

Cease treatment once the desired pH level has been achieved and then test your soil pH levels annually repeating the treatment process when necessary.

A 20kg bag treats up to 400m² when applied at a rate of 50g/m²

This product can be applied between February – November
