Do Bait Stations Help to Trap the Rodents?

Bait stations can either be used to just store rat poison, or they can be used to lure mice and rats inside them. Once inside, some bait stations have traps inside and therefore, will trap them for you. Either way, the bate inside is still inaccessible for children and pets – making it perfect for any room you have a rodent problem.

Mouse and Rat Traps

To make sure that you can get rid of your rodent problem as quickly as possible, you can place a mouse or rat trap inside a bait station. This makes sure that they are trapped securely and are unable to escape from the bait station itself. We advise that if you are wanting to place a mousetrap inside the bait station that you also place something to lure the rat inside too (such as chocolate, peanut butter, cheese or bacon).
