We all love the sunshine don’t we but there can be such a thing as too much sunshine, even here in the UK! When the sun is blazing, you need to find a bit of shade and with more of us now working from home indefinitely, there’s nothing to stop us from taking our laptops into the garden and enjoying the fresh air while we work – as long as you can still see the screen, and that’s not always easy in direct sunlight.

Therefore, no self-respecting garden would be complete without a stylish parasol. While pergolas and canopies are growing in popularity, the beauty of a parasol is that you can move it around the garden as the sun moves and you have the option to not put it up at all, for those times when you want to soak up some rays.

We are very pleased to announce the arrival of our new range of parasols, just in time for summer. We have three models from last year in the collection, available in cream, green, and khaki. We've added some ultra-modern new designs for 2021, with some stylish heather grey or midnight grey colours for you to choose from. No matter what colour you choose, each offers extra features as you go through the price range.

While there are some differences in the range, they all have some common features that make them all a great buy for your garden:

Robust construction

One of the greatest disappointments with a parasol is that they can be flimsy, which can be a real issue in a strong wind or even a slight breeze. You have no such worry with a Glamhaus parasol. Constructed from steel or aluminium (depending on the model), they are all incredibly robust and able to withstand all the usual weather conditions that come with a British summer. They’re equally sturdy whether used with a table or just a base (we recommend a 15-20kg base).

Easy to use

Some parasols can be overly complicated, both to assemble and to use. Not so with these. They are very user friendly, and you don’t need to summon the strength of 10 tigers to put it up and down, thanks to the crank handle.

Easy to store and transport

The parasols break down easily into compact sections. This not only means that they can be stored almost anywhere over the winter months, but they can be transported easily as well so great for camping trips or just for taking to a friend’s garden for a party.

Tough fabric

As well as the frame being strong, the fabric of the umbrella is tough, tear-resistant, and waterproof so will last for years if cared for properly. (And even protect you from a light shower during a barbecue!).
