What are Air Circulation Fans?

Most traditional fans simply provide the benefit of cooling small areas, whereas Air circulation fans are more powerful with a more aerodynamic design which mean the air moves continuously. This creates a more comfortable environment and makes keeping the air fresh in larger areas much easier.

Where can Air Circulation Fans be used?

These fans can be used anywhere but are particularly useful in large areas such as warehouses, office buildings, large shops etc. In the warehouse where there are often fewer windows and they are usually placed higher up the air can quickly become stale and dusty creating an uncomfortable environment to work in. However, with a fan keeping the air moving and circulating it prevents the air from becoming stale. In other large open areas such as classrooms, shops, gyms and halls you may generally find that even while opening windows smaller fans struggle to fully cool the air and you will find only certain areas benefit from the blast of cool air they produce, this means you will often find you need multiple units or be forced to go down the more expensive route of an air conditioning unit. However, with the increased power that Air circulation fans offer this will no longer be a problem.

How to use Air Circulation Fans

Air circulation fans work very much the same as traditional fans, simply turn on and adjust the speed setting to what suits your needs. We always recommend placing your fan near windows, doors or if you have air conditioning installed you can place the fan near the unit for increased airflow. By placing the fan near areas of natural airflow, it will keep the air feeling even fresher. However, not to worry if you are not able to position a fan near windows or doors, it will still work to improve the overall quality of the air.
